CITY RESIDENT EXPRESSES FRUSTRATION ON DOLTON MAYOR TIFFANY HENYARD DURING BOARD MEETING

During a Dolton town meeting, a city member expressed strong emotions when discussing Tiffany Henyard. Henyard, who is a Thornton Township supervisor, is facing allegations of misusing government funds for personal purposes. The city member suggested that she should be in jail for her actions, specifically mentioning her wigs and implying that the money was used to fund them.

During the same discussion, frustration was expressed about Andrew Holmes being labeled a rapist and Dolton Police’s involvement in the shooting death of 19-year-old Alexis Wilson. The incident occurred in July 2021 when police were called to a restaurant drive-thru.

Dolton police released video footage of the incident, which showed Alexis Wilson striking the drive-thru window with an object. Subsequently, the police instructed her to exit the car, but she expressed that she was not appropriately dressed.

When the police opened the car doors, Alexis Wilson drove away out of fear, according to her mother. At that point, the Dolton police began shooting.
