A campaign office for Vice President Kamala Harris in Tempe, Arizona, was shot at overnight, according to local authorities. The attack occurred just after midnight on Tuesday, only days before Harris is scheduled to visit the state for a major rally.
In a statement Tempe officers said, “We can confirm that on 9/23/24, what appears to be damage from gunfire at a DNC Campaign Office, was discovered. No one was inside the office during the overnight hours, but this raises concerns about the safety of those who work in that building, as well as those nearby.”
This is the second time the campaign office was targeted in the last few weeks. On September 16th the office was reportedly hit with what appeared to be a BB or pellet gun.
Authorities are currently investigating both incidents, but they have not yet identified any suspects.
