Last week, Thalia Graves and her attorney Gloria Alfred held a press conference to announced a federal lawsuit claiming that in 2001, the then-25-year-old Graves was drugged, bound and viciously raped at the Manhattan headquarters of Bad Boy Entertainment by music mogul and his head of security, Joe Sherman.
In a sit-down interview with NBC New York, Sherman, also known as Big Joe, broke his silence, stating that he had never even met the woman, let alone had anything to do with her alleged sexual assault. He made it clear that he was not saying her claims were false; he was just saying he had absolutely nothing to do with it.
Although he acknowledges being a bodyguard for Diddy in the late 90s, he claims he does not know Graves.
Big Joe also mentioned that he was contacted on Instagram by someone trying to confirm his identity and persuade him to work together in an attempted “money grab” involving Diddy. He stated that he refused to lie about Diddy, and now he’s dealing with the consequences.
