In action to build her trust with Democratic black men, Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday disclosed new proposals just 21 days before election day.
Kamala Harris’ proposal to strengthen trust in Black Democratic men focuses on addressing systemic issues and promoting equity. Key elements include enhancing community engagement, supporting economic opportunities, improving access to education and healthcare, and fostering criminal justice reform. The initiative aims to build strong relationships within communities and ensure that Black men have a voice in the political process, thereby reinforcing trust and representation. Harris emphasizes the importance of collaboration with local leaders and organizations to create sustainable change. This initiative comes from low numbers with Black male voters compared to Joe Biden’s 2020 election.
In an effort to continue her promise of helping small businesses amongst the black community, Harris has included one million forgivable loans up to $20,000 to create new job opportunities for black men and start up businesses in partnership with the Small Business Administration.
According to a Harris Campaign press release, the goal is to supply “the tools to achieve financial freedom, lower costs to better provide for themselves and their families, and protect their rights.”
Harris will be in Detroit this Tuesday for a Town Hall hosted by radio legend, Charlamagne Tha God.
