Former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was arrested in Tennessee on Thursday for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
Cutler was arrested in Franklin, Tennessee.
He refused field sobriety tests and was taken to a hospital where a blood sample was taken through a warrant.
Cutler had two firearms, a rifle and a loaded Glock pistol, located in his vehicle.
Cutler allegedly attempted to flee the scene after offering the other driver $2,000 to not call the police, documents state.
Cutler was charged DUI-first offense, possession of a handgun-under the influence, failure to exercise due care to avoid a collision and implied consent.
