SABA PERFORMS AT LINCOLN HALL FOR “COMFORT ZONE” 10TH ANNIVERSARY

October 27th was a night to remember as Saba celebrated his 10th anniversary of his first album “Comfort Zone.” This night was the first night that Saba has ever performed this album in its entirety. Fans from in and out of Chicago sold out Lincoln Hall Chicago to see him perform nostalgia right before their very eyes.

There was a special performance that introduced Saba’s set. Singer and songwriter Senite set the stage on fire as she performed live with her band, Kyle Paul on bass and Alonzo on Drums. At the end of her set, she bought special guest Kai Crewsade as they performed their unreleased song.

After Senite’s warm welcome to the space, Saba took the stage and united his fans with “Comfort Zone” which was his first album released in 2014. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Saba performed some of the biggest hits from this album including “401K,” “For Y’all,” “Whip,” and the original version of “Comfort Food.”

Joining Saba on stage is some of the hottest artists and musicians in Chicago including Shawnee Dez on vocals and Kameron Lowe on keys. While on stage Saba reminds the audience that not only is he a solo artist but also belongs to his group known as Pivot Gang. One of Pivot’s legendary members FRSH Waters came out to bless the stage with bars that took the crowd to church.

Saba’s “Comfort Zone” has been a major milestone to his rap career. Since then, he has released three other albums known as “Buck List Project,” “CARE FOR ME,” and “Few Good Things.” He has also released new music such as “How to Impress God” which is a single that dropped on October 25th. To see his career take off in such a powerful and positively impactful manner has added light to the future of Chicago’s rap culture.
