Daniel Ezra, known as All American’s main character, Spencer James, will not return to the continuous storyline. He explained to Deadline that “Spencer reached his ultimate goal—making it to the NFL—with his story complete.
Along with Daniel Ezra’s departure, Cody Christian, who plays Asher, Spencer’s teammate in All-American, will also leave the role. Asher has a massive role in this story, and the audience can understand the lifestyle someone like Asher had to go through. His toxic yet honest traits greatly impacted the casting and will be missed moving forward.
Samantha Logan, who plays Olivia Baker in All American, is also saying goodbye. Many were looking forward to Olivia’s journey without Spencer, but now that she is leaving, fans must see what else lies in this storyline. However, it is rumored that she may make a special appearance during season 6 that can shake up the storyline for All American.
