Christian hip-hop artist Lecrae revealed that he has attended a few parties hosted by the controversial music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, where he witnessed alarming acts of excess and “deeds of darkness.” “I’ve been to a few Diddy parties, and I realize I’m taking a risk by saying this,” the Grammy Award-winning musician shared in a January episode of his podcast, “Deep End with Lecrae.”

At one gathering, Lecrae recalled that an unnamed artist cautioned him about staying too late, alluding to activities that may not align with his Christian values. True to that advice, the party’s vibe changed dramatically.
According to the artist, he has been to gatherings of many celebrities, including Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg, to network and be a “light in the dark.” Diddy, who has also been known as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, is currently facing several civil lawsuits accusing him of sex trafficking, sexual abuse, and rape. On Monday, federal agents from U.S. Homeland Security conducted raids at two of the rapper’s residences in Los Angeles and Miami in connection with the allegations. In the most recent lawsuit against Combs, filed in February, Christian music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones alleged he was “subjected to unwanted advances by associates of Diddy at his direction” and that he was forced to engage in relations with the sex workers Combs had hired. The lawsuit also alleges that Combs regularly hosted “sex-trafficking parties” with underage women and illegal drugs.

Diddy, 54, has vehemently rejected all allegations against him and pledged to “defend my name, my family, and the truth.” Lecrae’s admission of attending parties at Diddy’s residence has ignited conversations online, with some criticizing the artist for jeopardizing his Christian testimony, while others commend him for upholding integrity in the face of the industry’s challenges.
Lecrae is not the only Christian public figure to frequent Diddy’s infamous gatherings: In 2022, a video emerged showing televangelist T.D. Jakes at the music mogul’s 53rd birthday celebration in Los Angeles stirred up debate among Christians on social media.

At that time, Derrick Williams, the executive vice president of T.D. Jakes Entertainment, who was present at the celebration, informed The Christian Post that the footage was taken during a short stop at the party while they were conducting business nearby.
