JACQUEES SCREENS HIS DOCUMENTARY ‘CALL ME QUE’ IN CHICAGO

Chicago’s Davis Theater hosted Jacquees to screen his new documentary ‘Call Me Que’ before its release on December 24th. Although Jacquees is from Atlanta, his Chicago fans lined up on Tuesday night to support. Special guests such as Dej Loaf and Real Yung G made an appearance to show love as well.

Jacquees, otherwise known as this generation’s King of R&B, stopped to answer some questions for What’s the Word TV before the screening. “Legendary, epic, and inspiring” is how he describes the documentary in 3 words.

The singer also expressed gratitude to those who were in attendance. “I’m always thankful for these types of fans that come for these special moments.” He proceeded to give the audience a special thank you before the show.

‘Call Me Que’ provoked a range of emotions throughout the evening. Viewers could be heard in the audience laughing, cheering, and encouraging Jacquees as his story played out. The special moments shared on screen illustrated that “Que” has known he was a star since childhood.

After the screening, the King of R&B took the stage for an intimate Q&A dialogue with the attendees. He shared that fans will see more of him on screen as this documentary is “only the beginning” of his story.

The night ended with everyone in the audience lining up to take a photo a share a few words with Jacquees.
