A viral video is going around of a woman getting mad at the portions at Chipotle, deciding to go behind the counter and make her own food.
Chipotle is known for having portion control and if you’re not a worker, you truly wouldn’t understand how their Critical Items (C.I.) works. Chipotle’s critical items would be all meat, cheese, guacamole, and queso which means it’s their most expensive items that they have to keep an eye on. Granted the other items on the line have a certain portion too but most customers care about how much meat they get.
Customers believe that Chipotle’s prices are too high, and the recent announcement about an increase did not sit well with them.
