Cook County officials are seeking public assistance in locating Jorge Mondragon-Bahena, who is accused of violating the terms of his release while awaiting trial on serious charges.

Mondragon-Bahena was placed on electronic monitoring in October 2022 following allegations of sexually assaulting a minor under the age of 13. However, in March 2023, he reportedly tampered with and removed his GPS tracking device, an act that constitutes a violation of his court-ordered release conditions, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities have identified multiple aliases used by the fugitive, including Oscar Flores and Wenceslao Mondragon. Investigators believe Mondragon-Bahena may currently be employed as a cook in a restaurant located in the Chicago area.

The suspect’s last known address was reported to be in the 3500 block of North Southport Avenue in the Lake View neighborhood of Chicago.
