Fans been having mixed feelings with Drake after news broke that he would be suing Universal Music Group for defamation over Kendrick Lamar‘s diss song “Not Like Us.”.

“He’s not snitching on nobody. He’s not in a court of law, he’s not personally suing Kendrick Lamar, which everybody seems to think that this lawsuit is about,” he said. “He’s suing UMG, which is the biggest company that has the biggest bag, n-gga.”

Jim Jones said Drake suing UMG and not Kendrick makes the situation more like Tracy Morgan suing Walmart over his 2014 car accident.

Jones mentioned that Drake is “smart enough to use his turbulence” to go after UMG, adding that “none of us would ever be in them rooms anyway.” To illustrate his point, which hinged on criticisms centered on the role the beef itself plays in the lawsuit, Jones brought in mentions of vegetables and fruit.

In his statements, Jim Jones compared Morgan’s lawsuit against Walmart to Drake suing UMG.

“If it was any other thing, I would call a red flag when I see one, but this got no reflection of the street, it’s got no reflection of the rap culture; this is a bigger and higher power. And it’s a dangerous thing he’s doing. It’s some James Bond sh*t he’s doing. He’s doing some sh*t that’s taboo, that ni**as been scared to do.”
