On Tuesday morning, three women were shot in an alley located on the South Side of the city. According to the Chicago police, the women were found around 4:50 a.m. close to 78th Street and Crandon Avenue in the South Shore area.
A neighbor named Marcia Talbert stated that a woman urgently knocked on her door, crying out for help. Two of the women thought to be in their 20s to 30s, had sustained gunshot wounds to the head and were declared dead at the scene.
The third victim, also estimated to be in her 20s or 30s, was the one who had been banging on doors for help. She had gunshot wounds to her face and chest and was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
