CHICAGO MAN AND WOMAN INJURED DURING DRIVE-BY SHOOTING

According to ABC7 News, two individuals were injured in a drive-by shooting on Monday night, as reported by Chicago police. The event occurred around 8:41 p.m. in the 4700 block of W. Flournoy Street, West Garfield Park. 

According to authorities, a 38-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman got into a dispute with a group of unidentified men. After the confrontation, the couple entered their vehicle and tried to leave the area; however, the suspects pursued them and fired several shots at their car before fleeing the scene.

After the shooting, the victims drove their bullet-damaged SUV to Loretto Hospital. The man sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and was reported to be in serious condition. The woman was shot in her legs and hand, and she was also in serious condition.

Currently, no suspects have been apprehended.
