She was promptly transported to a local hospital and is expected to recover. Tragically, a 32-year-old woman was discovered in a hotel room with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at Northwestern Hospital.
According to ABC 7, authorities report that the suspect fled the scene in a tan-colored SUV, last seen heading eastbound. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
