BODY CAM FOOTAGE AND 911 CALL OF FLORIDA MOM WHO STRANGLED DAUGHTER TO DEATH RELEASED

On May 11, 2024, Rotesha Silveus, 38, was arrested. Her 18-year-old daughter called and said she “just woke up from being passed out” after being strangled, police said. After that, the call with dispatch was disconnected.

When authorities arrived, her daughter, Natavia Sanders, was found unresponsive and taken to a hospital, where she passed away on May 13, 2024.

Silveus was initially taken into custody on charges of resisting an officer and aggravated battery with great bodily harm, which was eventually upgraded to first-degree murder, police said.

In 2025 body cam footage was released and broken down by the Law & Crime network.
