CHICAGO PASTOR BUYS LIQUOR STORE BUILDING TO REDUCE CRIME

New Life Covenant Southeast and Pastor John Hannah is once again blessing those that life in Chicago’s Chatham Neighborhood by buying what used to be Happy Liquor and Food store.

Pastor Hannah is known for seeing the good within the bad. According to ABC News, he hopes to transform the area into a grocery store, a medical facility featuring dental and counseling services and even leave space for small businesses which in return should reduce the crime in the area with providing more resources.

“We knew that there’s so much potential in this community,” Pastor Hannah said. “We knew that there are people who want to see change in this community, so we’re not going to let the negative smother the positive.”

For those who have lived in the neighborhood or that are still living there, know what danger and problems the store used to bring so with Pastor Hannah making this huge purchase, it can change every thing.
