GRAMMY-NOMINATED CHICAGO NATIVE KOSINE RETURNS AND GIVES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

Chicago’s own Kosine, didn’t come back to the the city over the weekend to celebrate St. Patrick’s day, but instead he came to do what he does best and give back to the community.

When people think about those celebrities who made it out of Chicago, it always seems to spark a debate whether or not they come back to give back or they leave where they came from in their past. Kosine beats those rumors to the punch and he comes back to make a difference with in the youth.

While Kosine loves what he does, he revealed that connecting with the next generation is one of his greatest joys.

“That’s my therapy, educating, articulating, you know, my cheat codes in the studio to the kids and opening up their eyes to the art of songwriting and music production,” Kosine said.

The multi-talented artist, skilled at producing, writing, recording, performing and acting, has worked with some of music’s biggest stars, such as Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber. 

He also revealed he’s releasing a new song. “I got to just tell you about BJ The Chicago Kid. I have a song releasing with him this Friday called ‘Will You Pray,’ so just look out for it,” he said.
