Brooklyn drill rapper Fivio Foreign has been incarcerated since January 5, following allegations that he threatened a woman with a firearm. The incident reportedly occurred on New Year’s Eve in New Jersey, where Fivio (real name Maxie Ryles) is accused of pointing a gun at a woman who had asked for assistance jumpstarting her car.
According to the police report, he warned her: “If I see you parked in front of this building again there is going to be a fucking problem.” Witnesses identified Fivio, and surveillance footage from a nearby apartment complex corroborated the victim’s account.
He was subsequently arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, terroristic threats, and aggravated assault. Fivio’s attorney, Adam Lustberg, contends that no firearm was recovered and anticipates the case will be dismissed.
