BYSTANDERS CONFRONT DRIVER AFTER CRASHING INTO CROWD ON SIDEWALK IN LA

Multiple people, including children, have been injured after a minivan crashed into a crowd of bystanders in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon.

The vehicle ran into a crowd of people on the sidewalk, outside of the Santee Alley shopping area in the Fashion District.

Video shows bystanders take away the key and punch the driver of a minivan after she crashes into a crowd on a busy LA sidewalk, injuring at least nine including kids.

Two of the victims, both 23-year-old women, were released from the scene post-incident against medical advice.

Four adult women, ages 54, 65, 30 and 23, and three boys, ages 8, 11 and 17, were taken to a local hospital in fair condition, officials told Fox 11

The victims were all in fair condition, according to officials.

The LAPD warned drivers to expect delays near the area where the incident occurred.
