On Easter Sunday, Chicago witnessed the birth of something special. Cre8ive Sessions hosted the very first AfroWave Fest, bringing together the city’s emerging Afrobeats talents and creating a cultural wave that was impossible to ignore.
Held as a celebration of sound, soul, and community, AfroWave Fest featured an all-star local lineup with Dannie Gotit, Corlie, Koray, Blakka, Rie Osei, and more—each delivering high-energy performances that had the crowd vibing all night. With OG Stevo holding it down as host and DJ Certified spinning electrifying sets, the energy never let up.
