In a powerful show of growth and commitment, over 100 Atlanta fathers recently completed fatherhood programs aimed at helping them become stronger, more engaged parents.
Morehouse School of Medicine hosted the FIRE 100 Graduation, where nearly 40 men graduated from the Gentle Warriors Academy, a six-week program organized by Fathers Incorporated. The ceremony, held at Pittsburgh Yards, featured keynote speaker Tracy Martin, the father of Trayvon Martin, who spoke about the significance of fatherhood in fostering stronger communities.
Meanwhile, 15 incarcerated fathers at Fulton County Jail completed the New Beginnings program, gaining parenting and life skills to help them reconnect with their families and prepare for a better future.
These programs, focused on emotional wellness, parenting, and personal growth, are helping fathers—many facing major life challenges—rewrite their stories and strengthen the fabric of their communities.
