TRAGIC MOTHER’S DAY: HOUSTON SON ALLEGEDLY KILLS MOTHER TO ‘STOP GLOBAL WAR’

On Mother’s Day morning, May 11, 2025, a tragic incident unfolded in Houston, Texas, when 36-year-old Bao Dinh allegedly fatally stabbed his mother and injured his father at their home on North Fallen Bough Drive. According to ABC, Dinh claimed he had experienced a vivid dream instructing him to kill his parents to “prevent a massive global war.”

Authorities reported that Dinh first attacked his father, striking him multiple times with a dumbbell before stabbing him. When his father called out for help, Dinh’s mother appeared at the bottom of the stairs, where he allegedly stabbed her. She was transported to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries around 6 a.m.

Court officials noted that Dinh was experiencing a mental health crisis at the time of the incident. A judge deemed him a threat to public safety and set his bond at $1.5 million.
