THE CHICAGO SKY SET TO RETIRE CANDACE PARKER’S JERSEY THIS SEASON

The Chicago Sky will retire Candace Parker’s iconic No. 3 jersey on August 25, 2025, during a home game against the Las Vegas Aces. Parker, a Naperville native, led the Sky to their first WNBA championship in 2021 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest to ever play the game.

In her statement, Parker reflected on her roots, saying, “I never imagined one day my jersey would hang in the rafters of my hometown team.”

The celebration will include a special ceremony, video tribute, fan giveaways, and exclusive merchandise. With a legacy that includes three WNBA titles, two MVPs, and two Olympic gold medals, Parker’s jersey retirement is a well-deserved tribute to a Chicago legend.
