Sunday, June 8, 2025, a tragic incident took place when a married couple was fatally shot near the Bellagio fountains. The victims, Tanisha Finley, 43, and her husband Rodney Finley, 44, known online as “Bubbly” and “Finny Da Legend,” were live streaming at the time of the incident.

Rodney operated a YouTube channel where he had previously documented a feud with the alleged shooter, Manuel Ruiz, 41, also known as “SinCity Manny.”
The beef between the Finleys and Ruiz reportedly started in 2023 when Ruiz allegedly pepper-sprayed Tanisha. The dispute escalated online, with Rodney accusing Ruiz of issuing false copyright strikes against his content.

On the night of the shooting, Rodney is seen live-streaming with his wife right before and the shooting was captured on video.

The footage shows tourists nearby and Ruiz (shooter) approaching with a firearm, firing several rounds near bystanders. In the video, you can hear witnesses reacting in horror as the scene unfolded.

Ruiz turned himself in to authorities Monday morning in Henderson, Nevada. He faces two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon.
Ruiz claimed he acted in self-defense, stating he believed Rodney was reaching for a weapon, though no firearms were found on the victims or in video footage. He is currently held without bail and is expected in court on Thursday.
