YOUTUBE CRACKS DOWN ON AI-GENERATED VIDEOS AND REUSED CONTENT STARTING JULY 15TH

The YouTube Partner Program is tightening its rules around AI-generated videos. Starting July 15, 2025, YouTube will demonetize mass-produced, repetitive, or low-effort AI content—like slideshows, auto voiceovers, and fake trailers with no human input.

The goal? To reward creators who add original commentary, creativity, or analysis. AI tools are still allowed, but only when used alongside genuine human effort.

Creators should:

– Avoid fully automated videos

– Add their own voice or perspective

– Focus on originality

In short: YouTube will still pay for AI-assisted content—but not if it feels like a copy-and-paste job.
