Chicago police are asking for the public’s help in locating two vehicles involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian seriously injured late last month in the city’s Englewood neighborhood.
The incident happened around 11:35 p.m. on July 30 near 755 West Marquette Road. According to investigators, two vehicles struck the pedestrian while heading eastbound — and neither stopped to help.
Authorities have identified the vehicles as a black 2024 Kia Seltos with Illinois license plate EL95946 and a gray 2008 Volvo XC90 with Illinois plate EZ88526. Both vehicles fled the scene immediately after the collision.
The pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
