ANGEL REESE SHOWS LOVE TO CHICAGO STUDENTS WITH BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASH

Angel Reese isn’t just making noise on the court—she’s making a real impact in the community too. The Chicago Sky forward teamed up with her Angel Reese Foundation and Reebok to host a Back-to-School Bash on August 16 at International Sports Chicago. The event was all about giving kids the tools (and confidence) to start the year off strong, with 2,000 backpacks filled with school supplies handed out to local students (BET).

But it wasn’t just about supplies—this was a whole community celebration. Families enjoyed free food, live entertainment, and even salon services to make sure kids looked and felt ready for the first day of school on August 18 (BET).

The Angel Reese Foundation summed it up best on Instagram: “2,000 students. 2,000 reasons to celebrate!⭐️ Our Back-to-School Bash was a true community effort…” And even local leaders like Dr. Diane Castro of the Chicago Teachers Union praised the effort, calling it a powerful way to show love and support for families (BET).

With her star power and heart for the community, Reese is proving she’s more than just a basketball star—she’s the definition of a hometown hero.
