TEENAGE BOY KILLED BY DRIVE-BY SHOOTER INSIDE BURGER KING IN CHICAGO

A tragic shooting took the life of a teenage boy Sunday evening on Chicago’s Southwest Side, according to police.

Authorities reported that a Jeep SUV pulled up outside a Burger King in the Archer Heights neighborhood, near the 4000 block of South Pulaski Road, shortly after 7 p.m. Someone inside the vehicle opened fire toward the restaurant, striking a 17-year-old boy who was inside at the time.

The teen suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was rushed to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead, police said.

After the shooting, the SUV drove off in an unknown direction. As of now, no arrests have been made, and detectives are continuing their investigation.
