The accident required first responders to extricate him from his vehicle using a specialized tool known as a “claw.” As a result of the crash, he sustained significant injuries, including paralysis from the waist down.
Accident Details:
On the day of the incident, Hakim was driving when another vehicle struck the passenger side of his car, causing him to lose consciousness.
Injuries and Medical Intervention:
Hakim suffered a serious injury to a vertebra in his neck, which pinched his nerves and led to his paralysis. Following this, he underwent surgery to have the damaged vertebrae removed and replaced with screws to stabilize his spine.
