INDIANA DOORDASH DRIVER BANNED AFTER PEPPER SPRAYING ARBY’S ORDER

A DoorDash driver in Vanderburgh County, Indiana, is accused of spraying pepper spray on an Arby’s order after delivering it to a customer’s home.

The victims, Mark Cardin and his wife, reported that the wife began choking and vomiting after eating part of the meal. Doorbell camera footage reportedly shows the driver placing the food, taking the required delivery photo, then spraying the bag before leaving.

According to 14 News, DoorDash has removed the driver from its platform and refunded the order, calling the behavior “appalling” and cooperating with law enforcement. The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office is investigating, and the act could be charged as consumer product tampering, a felony under Indiana law.

The Cardins urged others to use doorbell cameras and remain cautious with food deliveries.
