WOMAN CHARGED AFTER RAZOR BLADES WERE FOUND IN THE BREAD AT WALMART IN MISSISSIPPI

A Texas woman has been arrested after authorities say she hid razor blades and a fishing hook inside bakery items sold at two Walmart stores in Biloxi, Mississippi. The disturbing discovery was made after customers reported finding sharp objects inside loaves of bread and baked goods purchased from the stores.

According to Fox 10 News, police identified the suspect through surveillance footage and tips from the public. She was taken into custody and charged with attempted mayhem, a serious offense involving intent to cause harm. Officials say no injuries have been reported so far.

Walmart removed potentially affected products and is cooperating with law enforcement. Police are urging anyone who recently bought bakery items from the stores to inspect them carefully and report anything suspicious.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not released a possible motive.
