LOS ANGELES FAMILY SPEAKS OUT AFTER KEITH PORTER JR. KILLED BY OFF-DUTY ICE AGENT

The family of 32-year-old Keith Porter Jr., who was fatally shot by an off-duty ICE agent on New Year’s Eve in Northridge, Los Angeles, is speaking out, demanding answers. Porter, a devoted father, reportedly fired a gunshot in the air to celebrate the New Year at his apartment complex when the agent responded.

Authorities say the off-duty ICE agent acted to protect the community. The Department of Homeland Security says that the man had a rifle and pointed it at the agent. Porter’s family disputes that account, insisting he posed no threat. According to Fox News, witnesses say Porter was ordered to put down a rifle before being shot.

Porter’s mother, Franceola Armstrong, and family attorney, Jamal Tooson, are calling for a full investigation, emphasizing the need for transparency and accountability, especially since the agent was off duty and no body-cam footage has been released.

The family hopes speaking out will ensure Porter’s death is fully investigated and justice is served.
