A student at Lake Zurich High School in the suburbs of Chicago says he was assaulted after holding a sign that read “I Love ICE” during an alleged anti-ICE protest at the school.

According to the student, he was the only person displaying a sign in support of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) while other students were participating in an anti-ICE demonstration. He claims another student confronted him and that the situation escalated, resulting in him being physically assaulted.
