Chicago police are warning the public about a man accused of targeting women through escort websites and apps, then sexually assaulting them on the city’s West Side.

According to the CBS Chicago, the suspect has allegedly been contacting women through online platforms commonly used to arrange escort services. Police say he sets up meetings under the guise of a paid encounter, then assaults the victims once they arrive at a residence or agreed-upon location.

Authorities report that the incidents have occurred on the West Side of Chicago, and investigators believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. Detectives are urging anyone who may have had a similar experience to contact police.

Officials have not released extensive identifying details publicly, but they are asking the public to remain alert, verify meeting locations carefully, and consider safety precautions when meeting individuals arranged through online platforms.

Police also stress that victims of sexual assault — regardless of the circumstances under which they met someone — deserve support and protection. Advocates emphasize that consent can be withdrawn at any time, and assault is never justified.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Chicago Police Department’s Special Victims Unit or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers
