Chicago’s creative community came together for a powerful night of music, culture, and sisterhood as local vocalist Simone Green celebrated the release of her newest single, “Black Queen.” The official release party took place on February 24 at Rhoyal Bistro Live, bringing out more than 150 guests including influencers, media personalities, creatives, and supporters from across the city.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening came during a special crown-placing ceremony involving every woman in attendance. In a symbolic act of unity and affirmation, each woman placed a crown on the woman seated to her left. The gesture honored solidarity, appreciation, and the shared power of Black womanhood, creating an emotional highlight that resonated throughout the celebration.
