CHICAGO WOMAN FOUND SHOT TO DEATH IN WEST SIDE ALLEY

A tragic discovery on Chicago’s West Side has left a community searching for answers after a 29-year-old woman was found dead in an alley, according to ABC Chicago.

Authorities have identified the victim as Brandy Fleming, who was discovered unresponsive early Friday morning in an alley in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

According to police, officers responded to the scene and found Fleming with a fatal gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and no suspects have been announced as of now. Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident as a homicide.

The death adds to ongoing concerns about gun violence across Chicago’s West Side, where residents have long called for increased safety measures and community support.
