ICE ARRIVES AT CHICAGO AIRPORT TO SUPPORT TSA OPERATIONS

ICE agents were spotted at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport after President Donald Trump announced plans to deploy immigration officers to airports across the country, according to CBS Chicago.

Officials said the move is meant to help the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) manage staffing shortages caused by an ongoing federal funding dispute. Many TSA workers have been working without pay, leading to call-outs and long security lines at major airports.

Authorities say ICE agents are expected to assist with non-screening duties such as managing lines, checking identification, and helping with crowd control. They are not expected to operate security screening equipment.
