Chicago was outside as hometown female rapper, mother, and entrepreneur Queen Key officially opened the doors to her brand new clothing store, Kolors Chicago, in a moment that had the city talking.
The surprise launch instantly won hearts across Chicago, with supporters flooding social media and showing up in person to congratulate the 29-year-old boss on her newest milestone. On April 19, 2026, Queen Key brought her vision to life in true fashion, covered in pink from start to finish.
Guests were welcomed by a pink carpet leading up to the entrance as family, friends, and supporters waited for the big moment. Minutes later, Queen Key stepped out alongside her children, smiling with excitement as she prepared to cut the ribbon and begin a brand new chapter.
Once the ribbon was cut, the doors officially opened and the energy inside was unmatched. From the displays to the setup, every detail was clean, stylish, and perfectly placed for shoppers to enjoy.
Hosted by @BKgetsherway, the event also featured drinks from Black-owned liquor brand Grand Mysterio Tequila, who provided shots for shoppers spending $25 or more. Guests also admired elegant roses placed throughout the store, adding another classy touch to the experience.
Queen Key mingled with supporters all afternoon, smiling, laughing, and embracing the love from the city. Heels, shirts, two-pieces, hats, and more were available for purchase as customers explored the new location.
