WOMAN EXPOSES PASTOR FOR HARRASSMENT AND INTIMIDATION WITH MORE WOMEN COMING FORWARD

Over the last several days, social media has been flooded with allegations involving Chicago pastor Marciano Austell, after Shakita Ford publicly accused him of harassment, intimidation, and inappropriate behavior.

In a series of emotional Facebook posts, Ford claimed she feared for her safety, alleging Austell repeatedly contacted her despite her telling him she was in a relationship and not interested. She also alleged he sent unsolicited explicit photos, claimed he would “get away with it” because of his political connections, and referenced another woman who had allegedly accused him of similar behavior.

Ford’s posts quickly gained traction across Facebook, where she said dozens of women privately contacted her with their own stories. According to Ford, approximately 30 women have since reached out alleging experiences ranging from harassment and stalking to assault, battery, robbery, and sexual violence.

Text Messages Surface as More Women Share Their Stories

As the controversy continues to unfold, Shakita Ford has publicly shared screenshots of text messages she says were sent by Pastor Marciano Austell. According to Ford, the messages show repeated attempts to contact her after she told him she was in a relationship and no longer wished to communicate. She has cited the messages as evidence supporting her allegations that Austell persistently pursued her despite her lack of interest.

Since Ford’s posts went viral, other women have also begun sharing screenshots and text message exchanges they allege are from Austell. Those women claim the messages reflect similar patterns of repeated communication, unwanted advances, and behavior they describe as inappropriate.

The screenshots have been widely circulated across Facebook, fueling public discussion and prompting additional women to come forward with their own allegations.

Pastor Releases Public Response

Pastor Marciano Austell has strongly denied the allegations.

In a lengthy statement posted to social media, Austell claimed Ford is fabricating the accusations after he refused to pay her $400 for sex. He alleged that Ford voluntarily gave him her phone number after the two met while walking at a gym and that they had mutually agreed to remain friends.

Austell further stated that:

  • He never stalked or harassed Ford.
  • Ford never previously sought an order of protection.
  • She never blocked his phone number or social media accounts.
  • She continued contacting him after making the allegations.
  • He intends to release screenshots of their conversations to support his version of events.

He acknowledged flirting with Ford but denied being a stalker, predator, or any of the other labels circulating online.

Social Media Reacts

As screenshots, videos, and personal testimonies continue circulating online, reactions have been divided.

Some users have expressed support for Ford and encouraged anyone with information to contact law enforcement rather than only posting online. Others have urged the public to wait for evidence before drawing conclusions, emphasizing that allegations alone are not proof of criminal conduct.

The controversy has reignited conversations about accountability within religious leadership, the importance of believing potential victims while also respecting due process, and the role social media now plays in exposing alleged misconduct.
