GUNMAN IDENTIFIED IN ILLINOIS RESTAURANT SHOOTING THAT LEFT ROBBINS MAYOR GRAZED
Authorities have identified 29-year-old Marquelle Rose as the gunman who was fatally shot by security after opening fire inside Harold’s Chicken Ice Bar, injuring two people including Mayor Darren Bryant.

Authorities have officially identified the masked gunman shot and killed by private security after opening fire inside a Harold’s Chicken & Ice Bar early Saturday as 29-year-old Chicago resident Marquelle Rose.
The shooting occurred on the 13700 block of South Claire Boulevard in Robbins, Illinois.
According to village officials, Rose entered the establishment masked and opened fire toward a target inside.
A contracted security officer stationed at the restaurant intervened immediately, fatally shooting Rose at the scene.

The gunfire left two bystanders injured, including Robbins Mayor Darren Bryant, who was inside picking up food.
Bryant was grazed by a bullet as he sought cover and was briefly hospitalized before being released.
A 29-year-old DJ working inside the restaurant was also grazed and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
