Kamala Harris has gotten Beyoncé to come out and speak on why she’s endorsing her at the Houston Rally.
Rumors started to spark hours before VP Harris’ rally in Texas that Beyonce was going to perform or at least be in attendance for the candidate.
Some fans were skeptical because, just a few months ago during the DNC in Chicago, a similar rumor had emerged through TMZ. Unfortunately, fans were disappointed when it was announced that she would not be attending since they were glued to their TVs and outside the convention to see.
As the rally began, rumors about Beyoncé’s appearance ended months of speculation regarding whether the singer would publicly endorse the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee as she stepped onto the stagealong with Tina Knowles and Kelly Rowland.
“We are at the precipice of an enormous shift,” Beyoncé told the crowd. “I’m not here as a celebrity. I’m not here as a politician. I’m here as a mother, a mother who cares about the world our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we are not divided, our past or present or future.”
With just a short amount of time before voting takes off, will this be enough for her to win?
