HIGHSCHOOL BASKETBALL BALL STAR KILLED ON HIS WAY TO SCHOOL IN PHILIDELPHIA

New developments have emerged in the investigation regarding the murder of 17-year-old Noah Scurry, a talented student-athlete who was fatally shot outside his home while his mother was preparing to drive him to Samuel Fels High School.

According to law enforcement sources, a rap video was uploaded the day prior to Scurry’s death, which investigators believe features Scurry wearing a “joker” mask and appearing to brandish firearms. The video includes other individuals dancing alongside him, all of whom are also displaying firearms.

Philadelphia Police state that Scurry was shot and killed in what seems to have been a targeted attack around 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning, occurring in an alley behind Rohrer Street. About 20 rounds were discharged during the incident.

Following the news of Scurry’s passing, the district announced the cancellation of all men’s basketball games for that week.

Spokesperson Monique Braxton referred to Scurry as an exceptional student-athlete, and the principal, basketball coach, and the entire school community were heartbroken.

In a letter sent home to families, the principal noted that Scurry had recently achieved the highest score on the SAT College Placement tests within the school community.

Authorities suspect that at least two individuals exited a white Jeep Cherokee, which has since been recovered from the impound lot. A possible third individual may have been driving the vehicle.

As reported by FOX 29, Scurry had previously been a victim in an earlier shooting incident that occurred in May 2023 on the 4600 block of Mulberry Street. A man in his 60s lost his life during that shooting.
