Police say the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and later died at St. Francis Hospital. Shell casings at the scene suggest the shooter approached on foot. No arrests have been made, and Area Three detectives are investigating.

This incident highlights ongoing concerns about gun violence in Chicago, even in quieter neighborhoods like Rogers Park. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
