Sixteen people were injured when a roof collapsed during a St. Patrick’s Day frat party near the University of Pittsburgh. The party attracted around 500 attendees, with students seen standing on the roof.
According to Emily Bourne, a spokeswoman for Pittsburgh Public Safety, 13 individuals suffered minor injuries, while three others were in serious condition.
“There were people on the porch area, people directly below on the concrete, and then people on the roof, and then it all came down,” a Pitt student told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
