Alderman Raymond Lopez (15th) says that he is removing all “dibs” items from parking spots in the ward after receiving high complaints.

We are clearing those blocks with the highest dibs complaints today & will push forward with the entire ward throughout the week. Now is your chance to take back your lawn furniture, baby strollers & buckets before I consign them to their final resting place! pic.twitter.com/aLohqR6Jjh
In the post, Alderman Lopez states: “We are clearing those blocks with the highest dibs complaints today & will push forward with the entire ward throughout the week. Now is your chance to take back your baby strollers & buckets before I consign them to their final resting place.”
This has caused a bit of a divide on social media with some people expressing joy with Lopez’s actions and others saying it isn’t fair to those who have shoveled out their spots only to have them taken.
The people that didn't do anything to clear those spots but will park in them in appreciate this.
