A substitute teacher at District Heights Elementary, in Maryland, has been removed from the school over controversial tweets.
The educator, who was identified as Bianca Robinson, has been removed over her series of tweets that encouraged bullying, judged her parents & students, and more.
According to Fox 5, a spokesperson for Prince George’s County Public Schools confirmed Robinson worked as a substitute teacher at the school up until the tweets made rounds on social media.
The tweet that landed the substitute in trouble appears to have been posted to Twitter last Thursday under the account, “@Mostly_hated.”
Several other questionable posts were flagged on her Facebook. Prince George’s County Council Education Committee Chair Jolene Ivey used the words “homophobic” and “abuse” describing some of what she read.
The spokesperson for Prince George’s County Public Schools says that the matter is being handled by human resources as a confidential personnel matter. PGCPS did not confirm when the substitute was removed from the classroom and how long she has been with the school district.
