A 15-year-old was among six people injured in a mass shooting at a gas station in Humboldt Park early Monday morning after a gathering amongst people goes wrong.
In the security video that was provided by Shell Gas Station on the street near Pulaski and Iowa in Humboldt Park, you can see a crowd come out of nowhere and gathering around the pumps. You can even see right when the gunfire broke out because people started running in a panic way and some even tried to get into the gas station.
Police said three women and two other men were taken to local hospitals where they are expected to recover from their physical injuries. Another woman took herself to the hospital with a graze wound.
Police said they believe the gunman ran off. No one was in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
