In recent days, similar large teen gatherings in downtown Chicago led to multiple arrests and curfew enforcement, with police reporting fights, reckless conduct, and teens climbing on vehicles during the incidents.

Authorities have not yet released full details about the Hyde Park incident, including whether arrests were made or if any injuries were reported. Police continue monitoring large gatherings as city leaders debate stronger curfew rules to prevent future takeovers.
