BB Subi rocked Reggie’s Rock Club on Friday, July 5, 2024, with her first headlining show, “Starry Skies Showcase.” The event showcased fantastic Chicago talent, including Sydny August, King Melik, Icyy Bandz, and CryBBy. The electric atmosphere was kept alive all night by the incredible hosting of Morgan Gold and the non-stop beats from DJ Simmy. It was a night you didn’t want to miss!
As WTW’s Pretty K, Nikee Filmz, and Robin strolled through, the atmosphere was electric, filled with the tantalizing aroma of delicious food and the captivating energy of live performances. Crybby pumped the crowd up with back-to-back hits. “Lil Josh,” a talented rapper and talent manager in our city, joins her on stage as they perform some of their songs together.
King Melik and Sydny August’s soulful R&B performances captivated the audience, intriguing everyone and evoking deep emotions. Icyyband’s powerful lyrics resonated through the venue, leaving the crowd clamoring for more as he commanded the stage with charisma, adding exciting and vibrant energy to the already fascinating evening.
Last but not least, the “Punk Princess” stole the show. The energy that captivated the crowd during her performance was one for the books. Her presence made the crowd frenzy, singing every lyric word for word. Icyy Bands joined her onstage as they performed a fan favorite together, taking the energy from 7-10! Nonetheless, she held her own, making us realize she is the next punk/alternative superstar to come out of Chicago!
